for those of us who have no idea what the struggle with infertility looks like… let’s be honest and admit it. we have no clue.
but right now, someone you know is going through this painful struggle. and i’m pretty sure you have never heard anyone refer to it as a blessing. but that’s what you’ll hear kristin say on their blog. here’s just a snippet from the peddicord family’s blog about their journey to find a child to love.

“when the infertility battle began, God’s plan started to unfold before our eyes. even though it was (and is) hard on the both of us, we now understand that God was there all the time saying ‘don’t worry… my plan for you is great…’.”

i cannot imagine the strength it must take to want a child more than anything and instead of being consumed with questions about why your life isn’t going according to your plan, trusting God’s plan.

casey kristin have started the journey to adoption. but they need our help! adoption is expensive. so they have started a fundraiser to help them gather the necessary funds to adopt a wonderful child who may otherwise never know the kind of life and love that the peddicord family and God can provide.

the puzzle.
it’s $20 to buy a puzzle piece.
they’ll write your name on the back and the puzzle will hang in this beautiful child’s room. you’ll be a part of this amazing story forever.

let’s get real… it’s only twenty bucks!
think of all the ways we carelessly spend $20 in a week that we can go without for 7 days… specialty coffee from a cafe, snacks from the vending machine, a manicure/pedicure, or lunch out (when we can easily bring leftovers that we’ll end up throwing away).

in the grand scheme of things $20 won’t break the bank, it won’t change your life, but it could change someone else’s.

i urge you to consider going without the extravagances others don’t even wish for because all they want is a home.
i’m asking you to spend $20 to help a sweet couple change a child’s life forever.

if nothing else, take a minute to read their story and/or share it.
