Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa with JetBlue Getaways

It’s no secret that I’m a Jonathan Adler stalker superfan and total palm vivant, so when JetBlue Getaways invited me on a getaway to West Palm Beach to stay at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa, where Jonathan Adler had recently given the rooms a dazzling makeover, I nearly did somersaults. I’d love to share my Palm Beach diary trip photos, if you’d like to see!

First off, getting to Palm Beach was a breeze. We flew direct from LAX to FLL and then hopped in a car for an easy drive up to Palm Beach.

When we pulled up to the striped entryway of Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa to check in, we were immediately greeted with champagne. Heaven!

When we checked into our room, it got even better.

My eyeballs nearly sprung out of my head when I saw that our suite was decked out with Slim Aarons art. After the amazeballness that was THIS, I felt like the spirit of Slim Aarons was watching over us. And like I was wrapped in a giant Jonathan Adler cocoon of chic!

Speaking of art, there was Donald Drawbertson too!

And Leila Jeffreys too.

We immediately ordered room service and dined like kings, which was a surprise at 1am. Even though I LOVE room service, the late-night menu can often be a bit of a let down — amiright? — but we feasted on shrimp cocktail and steak frites and it was so good that we ordered room service for breakfast the next morning. #gluttons #canthelpmyself

When we finally made it out of our room the next day (what, did you SEE that tub!?), we enjoyed a leisurely stroll on le beach.

After dipping our toes in the water, we grabbed a few bikes from the hotel for a jaunt around town.

The bikes matched the hotel – how cute is that?

The architecture in Palm Beach is bananas!

And truly unlike anything I’ve seen before.

We’re already plotting our next trip back just to see and snap more photos of these groovy midcentury marvels.

V is for Victory!

When we returned from our ride, this delicious cheese plate, along with a bottle of wine, was waiting for us.

I’m a sucker for a cheese plate! And a swinging egg chair. We need to get one of these puppies for Casa Palm Springs. Stat!

Wine, cheese and ocean views? Don’t mind if I do!

While I could have happily stayed put in that chair for days, we decided pina coladas were in order, so we made our way downstairs to a cabana.

If you like pina coladas…

And bon bons and champagne…

After all the food and drink, I’m pretty sure we fell asleep at 8pm. #goldengirl

Which was good because it meant we actually made it out of our room before noon the next day.

Rise and shine!

We took a peek at the spa…

And the rest of the property…

And then hit the road for a tour of Palm Beach.

In this old thing. #thisisnotnormal #butilikeit #alot

After peeking at the rambling residences of Palm Beach and Donald Trump’s prized Mar-a-Lago, we wandered over to Worth Avenue, dubbed the Rodeo Drive of Palm Beach, for lunch at Pizza Al Fresco.

But while the shopping rivaled Rodeo Drive, all of the little hidden streets, or vias as they are called, reminded me so much of Capri. It was unlike anywhere that I’ve experienced in the States. It’s a very special place with its own distinct spirit and charm. And adorable transportation!

After lunch, we popped into CJ Laing for a little window shopping.

Resort wear for days!

Jonathan Adler had also recommended Dixie Highway for vintage shopping and Mimi’s for a bite, so we popped by both (and vowed to come back) before heading to dinner at The Breakers, where I had the best fish dish of my life. And then it was back to Eau sweet Eau to fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves.

Thank you to JetBlue Getaways Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa for an epic getaway!
