Mitt favoritsätt att applicera krämskuggor är helt klart när de är i stickform. De går så snabbt att måla på och sudda ut med fingret jämfört med burkar då lock måste fipplas med, penslar måste vara rena och sen smutsas ner för att sen tvättas igen.. Njä, sticks är min vardagsräddning! Mina favvos är Caviar Stick från Laura Mercier. De gliiiider på huden, inget torrt slitande i ögonlocken alls, och när de fått sitta ett litet tag så torkar de in och blir gnugg- och vattenfasta. Linjen innehåller massor av fina färger utan att vara urflippad, mängder av neutrala och några djupare juveltoner. Särskilt metallicnyanserna med wetlook på ögonlocken är riktigt fantastiska. Metallicfinishen gör att produkten ser olika ut beroende på hur ljuset studsar, så på ögonlocket får du en automatisk “3D-effekt” bara med några svep av en och samma färg! Lathet deluxe!
De nyanser jag har i min ägo är taupesilvriga Moonlight, gyllenkoppriga Copper och rödbruna Burnished Bronze varav första två är nära på spegelblanka och den tredje har mer av en klassisk skimmereffekt.

My favourite way of applying cream shadows is easily when they’re in stick form. It’s so easy to just paint it on and blend with a finger compared to jars where you have to unscrew lids, have clean brushes, gunk those brushes up, wash them again.. Nah, sticks are my everyday saviours! My favourite is Caviar Stick by Laura Mercier. They gliiiide onto the skin, no dry tugging on the lids at all, and when they’ve dried they become totally smudge and waterproof. They come in a lot of nice colours without being crazy, lots of neutrals and some deeper jewel tones. I’m extra fond of the metallic shades which have a wetlook on th eyes. The metallic finish makes the colour appear differently depending on how light hits, so on the eyelids it immediately gets an intense “3D effect” just with a few sweeps of the same colour! Laziness deluxe!
The colours I have are silvery taupe Moonlight, golden copper Copper (duh) and reddish brown Burnished Bronze out of which the first two are ultra shiny and the third is more of a classic shimmer.
The packaging is a classic twist-up so no wasteful sharpening is needed.
