Har ni hört snacket om skuggpaletterna från Viseart ännu? Inte helt oväntat om du makeupnördat på sistone. Viseart är ett franskt märke som riktar sig till makeupartister, idén är enkla och icke överflödiga förpackningar med väl genomtänkt innehåll. Precis så jag uppskattar makeup mest.

Jag går alltid fram och tillbaka mellan paletter när jag är ute efter matta skuggor, ingenting har ännu burit på ALLT i både nyans- och kvalitetsväg. Vips var det dags att testa dessa och jag kunde inte bli mer nöjd. Formulan är silkig och väldigt medgörlig, en minimaaal hudlik lyster räddar skuggorna från att upplevas platta och kritiga. I always go back and forth between palettes when I’m up for mattes, nothing has yet carried EVERYTHING both in shade and quality. Then tadaa, it was time to try these, and I couldn’t be happier with them. The formula is silky and very easy to handle, it has a sliiiight skin-like sheen which keeps the shadows from appearing flat and chalky. Viseart is available at love-makeup.co.uk. A steep price point but with great quality and low price per single eyeshadow it’s worth a peek.

Matte Eye Palette 01 är kultklassikern med matta neutrala nyanser i varma, neutrala och kalla toner hela vägen från off-vitt till mjukt svart. Använd till ögonsmink (lika väl milt som stenhårt), ifyllning av ögonbryn, att highlighta och skulptera med eller varför inte gömma en utväxt. Så otroligt användbar! Älskar att paletten innehåller grått och rostfärgat, de lite udda dragen ger den neutrala färgskalan lite spice.

Matte Eye Palette 01 is the cult classic with matte shades in warm, neutral and cool tones all the way from off white to a soft black. Use for eye makeup (soft aswell as super dark), filling in eyebrows, highlighting and contouring or why not to hide your roots. So insanely useful! I love how the palette contains both grey and a rust colour, the slightly odd features gives the neutral colour scheme some spice.

Editorial Brights Palette 08 är nyare än ovan nämnda, en helvild regnbågspalett med de mest grundläggande färgerna. Bra att ha både för skrikig editorialmakeup och för mer neutrala looker med en dutt färg. Det låter konstigt att säga med tanke på alla paletter som släpps nu för tiden, men att hitta en regnbågspalett som faktiskt känns genomtänkt och logisk rent färgteoretiskt är väldigt svårt. Här kan varje enskild nyans matchas sömlöst med minst halva paletten vilket verkligen ökar det kreativa spelrummet.

Editorial Brights Palette 08 is newer than the one mentioned above, a totally wild rainbow palette with the most basic bright shades. Good for both insane editorial makeup looks and for more neutral looks with a pop of colour. It might sound strange as there are so many palettes released at the moment, but finding a rainbow palette that feels well thought through and logic colour theory-wise is very hard. Here each and every shade can be matched seamlessly with at least half the palette which gives serious creative freedom.
