In the Mood: February 2015

On January 1st, I published a post called “A Clean Slate” to usher in the new year and set the tone for 2015. I loved curating the images for the post and find myself frequently going back to it for inspiration and to make sure my actions are in line with the intentions that I set for myself. I’ve decided to start creating monthly mood boards for a series called “In the Mood” which will set the tone for each month with the things I love and are currently resonating with me.

At the moment, I am still loving red and with Valentine’s Day being in February, it would only make sense for it to be the cornerstone color of the month. I even went back to red when I got a manicure yesterday after a month of neutral nails! I’m also loving black and white– as usual, for its purity, its timelessness, and because in a world full of grey areas, sometimes it would be nice for things to be clearly black and white. I am also gravitating to the idea that Spring is just around the corner (fingers crossed) and have been craving an escape to a warm, sunny place. Palm Beach is calling my name! What are you in the mood for this month?
