Jet Set: The Tides South Beach

Hello LDV readers! Brendan here of B.A.D | Blog About Design. For today’s Jet Set post I wanted to take us to the Tides South Beach in Miami, Florida. The hotel was built in 1936 and is located in the heart of the Art Deco district. The hotel is a few steps from the beach, shopping, and nightlife. What I love about the Tides is its relaxed, eclectic glamour. (Above) How incredible is the entrance to this hotel?

(ABOVE) The lobby has a very chic, metropolitan look. You’ll find plenty of areas to sit while you wait to check in.

(ABOVE) The Tides Restaurant is the perfect place to come to for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is a blend of International and American cuisine.

(ABOVE) The Coral Bar is a great place to come to for a drink or two before hitting the beach, a night on the town, or the Restaurant. I love the dark intimate feel of the space.

(ABOVE) There are 45 guest rooms at the hotel. The rooms have a very relaxed, light feel. How awesome does that bed look?

(ABOVE) Some of the suites have a living area. I love the arm chairs here. They bring a unique flair to the space.

(ABOVE) A close up of the front entrance. While you wait for your room you can also sit outdoors in these cozy spaces.

(ABOVE) The pool area is incredible. There’s a lot of places to relax and much greenery. I love the covered space at the head of the pool.
