LDV Loves: The White Shirt

There are things that I am consistently drawn to in fashion, design, and even travel as I often choose to visit my favorite places over and over in favor of seeking out new destinations. While innovation and change are undoubtedly important, I also believe that it is both important and necessary to be faithful to your own tastes. Honing in on the things that resonate with us are how we create an individual, unique perspective.

Over the past couple of years, I have found myself worrying less about what is fashionable and focusing more on my own style. I gravitate to classic, effortless silhouettes and have almost become formulaic in the way that I dress. It may sound boring, but when I have a million things going on, it’s comforting to have my go-to pieces that serve as the ideal canvas for great accessories and jewelry. I particularly love button-down shirts, especially slightly longer, easy fitting ones– Claridge King shirts are my favorite. Few things are as timeless and chic as the perfect white shirt. There are a million ways to wear it– dressed up or dressed down; preppy or edgy– it’s a piece you can absolutely make your own and will get unlimited mileage out of, which is why at LDV, we love our white shirts!
