New Year, New Me, New Blog… Design

The title says is it all doesn’t it? This is literally one of the most exciting but very scary things I’ve done with the blog in a long time. I’ve always been too scared to do a complete redesign because my old blog design has been my brand for so long. But I’ve gotten so sick of the boring colour scheme. I wanted a new kind of style! I kept the main dark brown from my old design and have added fun pinks and other floral accents into it.

And now, you’re looking at the new design! You have to bare with me while I update some of my older posts. I can update most of the meme/feature banners in one go since WordPress and FTP are awesome but I want to go all the back into the Blogger days and update those as well. I’ve literally been trying to reformat my posts for a year and I still haven’t finished. So if you see something from the old design that seems out of place, please let me know!

While we’re talking about letting me know things, I’d love to know what you think of the new design. If there are things that you think need changing, something is hard to read or is broken, I probably haven’t noticed so please tell me in the comments or on Twitter.

Hopefully 2015 will be amazing for Laura Plus Books! Thank you so much for all your support over the years. I’ve loved meeting all of you and appreciate every one of you. I hope you have an absolutely amazing year. This will be out year okay? Love yourself for who you are and everyone else will as well. Dream bigger and reach further. I believe in you. Don’t forget that there is always love and there is always hope. And when you feel like there’s none, look harder because it’s there. I promise.
