Must-Have List for New Moms

Yes, yes, it’s my first “mommy” post and I will admit I used to roll my eyes at the mommy needs list but now that I have a baby girl of my own I find myself looking for the lists. HA. Baby girl is 3 months and believe me there is a list of MUST-HAVES when it comes to making life easier for my husband and I as well as baby girl, so let’s get started. 1. Dr. Brown Bottles We used these since day one, they are suppose to be the best with helping with gas issues. Baby Girl never spits up even though she is so hard to burp, I have no proof but I am contributing that to the Dr. Brown Bottles. Find them here. 2. Boon Grass Drying Rack And of course you need something to dry the bottles! Love the design of this drying rack. You can find it here. 3. Boppy Pillow Most people think of these as nursing pillows but I use it all the time and since we are adopting, we have gone straight to bottle-feeding, obviously. These are great for tummy time, lay down time, to put around you while you feeding baby and when they get older it helps them sit up! Find it here. 4. Summer Infant SwaddleMe Not all babies love to be swaddled but baby girl LOVES it, it’s how she sleeps every night. Find the Summer Infant SwaddleMe (our favorite) here. 5. Cloud B 4 Soothing Sound Sleep Sheep This lamb stuffed animal velcros to the top of the crib and makes 5 different sounds, the one baby girl has loved from the beginning is the ocean sound. Find it here. 6. Ju Ju Be “Be Prepared” Diaper Bag I started with a small diaper bag and quickly found out that I am an over-packer, big time. Although kind of pricey the Ju Ju Be “Be Prepared” Bag is PERFECT! It’s the biggest one Ju Ju Be makes and as much as I am out and about this thing has come in handy. It has so many different compartments and is so easy to clean! Find it here. Now the next two are not must-have’s but I know my life wouldn’t be the same without them. 7. 4Moms mamaRoo It’s the ultimate swing, I first saw this on the Ellen show and knew I wanted it when I had kids. It is suppose to mimic you and the way you bounce the baby or a car ride and baby girl LOVES it. You can also plug your iPhone/iPod into it and let them listen to some tunes. Find it here. 8. Baby Brezza It’s the keriug for baby formula! You know those 3am wake calls from your littles where you can’t even see straight enough to dump the formula into the bottle. Ya, this does everything for you, heats it, mixes it, and puts it right into the bottle. As soon as I told my husband about this he was all over it and told me to go get it. Find it here.
