Layers of Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Box & Giveaway

Thank you to Paper Pumpkin for this Layers of Gratitude Box, filled with all of the supplies to make these cute Thank You cards!

We have had some horrible weather the last few days, and it has been way too cold to do anything but stay inside bundled up. Which makes it the perfect opportunity for some crafting. Thankfully, our brave UPS man delivered my Paper Pumpkin box just as our snow and ice storm began.

You don’t have to tell me, I know I’m special, but I totally geeked out when I saw there were TWO Stampin’ Spots in this month’s box. They are just so handy to have. I love that I can easily take several of them to a scrapbooking or cardmaking event. I have already came up with a great way to store my new stamps, but now I’m trying to come up with the best way to store my cute little Stampin’ Spots.

These cards were super easy to put together. I started my card a little different than their example, but I wanted my greeting to really stand out. I actually applied the stamp a second time over my words so it would be darker, which is easy to do with the photopolymer stamps.

I continued on stamping different patterns on each card. The last card I left a blank spot, so I could add a little note. I was excited to break out my Stampin’ Write Markers to write my message. I happened to have just the colors to match my cards perfectly. When I was finished stamping I applied my felt letters.

I love the presentation of this card all folded up in the envelope and wrapped in twine. My husband has been wanting to do something to say thanks to his staff at work and this card is so ideal. The colors in the card are actually their company colors. It will look so good displayed for everyone to see.

After I had made the card for my husband’s work, I played around with a few different ideas. I cut the long card base into a smaller traditional card and added a little twine. Then I made a special card for my husband, where I used each section to thank him for something different. It was a lot of fun working with these supplies to create these special thank you cards.
