Thomas Sabo – Turquoise Charm Carrier: Review

I love charm bracelets, to me they are something that can bring up a special memories, I have one which has items on from when I passed my driving test and when I passed a uni exam to name just a few times, as well as charms I have been gifted on Birthday’s and Christmas.

However sometimes it doesn’t fit your outfit to have a plethora of charms on your wrist and that is where this great idea from Thomas Sabo comes in. It allows you to wear charms from their charm club on a bracelet that is almost a complete statement piece on its own.

One of the great things about Thomas Sabo’s range of charm carriers is the fact they are available in a whole host of colours, my Mum owns a black one which she loves wearing on nights out for posh meals with my Dad or friends, while I decided to go for something a little more colourful for mine with this gorgeous turquoise number.

Made from reformed turquoise, it has a sterling silver charm carrier situated within the beads and is strung together on an elasticated nylon cord.

The charm carrier is said to be able to hold up to three of Thomas Sabo’s charms (though I cannot confirm or deny that as my Mum just has one and I didn’t receive any with this bracelet), which are available in a whole host of different designs and patterns.

I have to admit – I went with turquoise as it isn’t something I would normally choose, as it isn’t black and I am so pleased I did. It is a gorgeous colour and while it is one which I can’t see going with all my clothes, it is definitely something I would reach for on a special occasion or two, when I happen to be wearing the right colours.

The fact that it is an elasticated bracelet makes it extra comfortable to wear, as it stretches with you as you move your wrist about. Now all I need to do is get myself some charms to wear with it and it will be perfect!

The Thomas Sabo Turquoise Charm Carrier comes in 16.5cm and 17.5cm and can be brought from T. H. Baker along with a whole host of other charm carriers and charms.

What do you think of this bracelet, would you go for a colour like this?

*I received the Thomas Sabo charm carrier free from T. H. Baker for this review.
