Black and White and Red All Over!

Don't get me wrong, I do love me some colour (take note of the pop of red), but I must say that I am truly appreciating this year's black & white trend. It's not often that black & white -- together -- are trending for summer. As these 'colours' are what take up most of my closet space, I can't help but feel pretty 'in my element'.

When I was younger, I always steered clear of wearing black and white together. I thought it would make me look like a choir singer (cue nostalgia of Sunday school choir performances...*groan*). As I've gotten older, I've grown to appreciate and love the classic feel of black and white, and how the ensemble pretty much goes with EVERYTHING. And, might I add, these colours look awesome with a subtle touch of a bright colour; a red lip; an electric blue handbag; a neon statement necklace; the possibilities are endless here folks.
