My fish from last night! It’s similar to my first edition, and so easy! With the days getting shorter and darker, it’s so hard to make nice and bright pictures :( But!!! I have found something that will help me brighten my photos, I just have to build it first =P Will show it to you of course, with a step-by-step D.I.Y. instruction. For now, here’s the super simple recipe you’re gonna want to make every damn day if you could:
Print
Fish ‘en papillote’ from the oven
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Serving Size: 2
Ingredients
- 2 pieces of white fish of choice (this is Pangasius fillet)
- 1 lemon
- Spring onion rings
- Olive oil
- Dill
- Any other herb of choice
- Optional: unsalted butter and/or pink Himalayan salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 200C / 390 F.
- Spread out 2 long rectangular aluminium foil pieces on the counter and lay 1 fillet on each. It must be big enough to fold it like a pouch.
- Sprinkle some olive oil on both fillets, followed by dill and add 2 lemon slices on each fillet.
- Sprinkle the spring onion rings over it and squeeze out the rest of the lemon over the fillets.
- Optional: Place a couple of thin unsalted butter slices on top of the fish, or sprinkle some salt over it all.
- Set in the oven for about 15 minutes, and serve the pouches on a plate. Open when serving, it will smell sooo so good!
Notes
You can eat this with stir fried green beans, paprika and onion plus some sweet or random potatoes like I did last night, but the variety is endless :) Please tag me under #livelifelivelyrecipe when making this!
Enjoy!!
