On My Bookshelf: Saving Wishes

Quite often when I’m not crafting or designing stamps or playing Lego Star Wars on the PS3 with my little guy, you’ll find me with my nose in a book or glued to the Kindle app on my iPad! I’ve always been an avid book reader from an early age. From the Sweet Pickles series to Sweet Valley High and so on. I love the written word! There is nothing like getting lost in La La Land through a good book!

I just finished reading Saving Wishes by G.J Walker-Smith currently available as a free download from the Amazon Kindle book store (as of 09/02/13)

.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure how much I’d like the book since it’s a young adult story but once I started it I couldn’t stop! Saving Wishes is the story of Charli, a 17 year old girl in Australia whose view of life and the world changes when she meets Adam. It’s a story of young love, big dreams, tough choices and an unexpected twist in the story!

Saving Wishes was a quick read and a great young adult series I’m sure my 17 year old would enjoy. The end of the book left me wanting more of the story which meant heading to Amazon to purchase and download the 2nd book in the series, Second Hearts

.
