As my transition continues it is essential to my life that I choose protective styles that keep me excited. Otherwise, not wearing my own hair for THIS long would be driving me positively insane. So, weave and wigs of different textures, lengths and color keep it interesting while I keep my hair braided down beneath. The latest hair craze in my life is this kinky curly weave from Eva Wigs. It is a full lace wig that is sublimely versatile.
If you are curious about wigs but don’t know where to start, this is a perfect unit. It is foolproof – your hair doesn’t have to be extremely flat underneath, blending your edges isn’t really necessary because of its curly texture and you can part it anywhere you like for different looks. This is probably the most comfortable unit I own, although I always order a large cap this is the first time I have to tighten the straps in the back for a snug fit! #WINNING! Remember I gave you a look of this unit initially in How to Prep, Wash & Condition Your Wigs? It was flat and the curls were all uniform but I was able to fluff it to look super natural and full, but the shorter length makes it appropriate for the office.
I’ve worn this wig for about three weeks so far, including for my friend’s fall wedding, and everybody LOVES it! Zero shedding, tangle free, no excessive shine, super soft….like I said it’s easy and foolproof!
