LET’S BE HEALTHY

Since the first of October last year my life has been all about healthy living. I am a generally healthy person, in the sense that I don’t smoke, very rarely drink alcohol and never drink sodas or diet drinks like diet coke etc. However I had an extreme sweet tooth and it was just getting more and more annoying. I felt it was time to make a change so I did. I have been sticking to my new healthy lifestyle 90% of the time and had some cheat days over Christmas, New Years and on occasions like Birthday celebrations. Now I am back to my health regime and I am not going to allow myself any sugar in the next couple of weeks. I can already feel my sugar addiction trying to sneak it’s way back after I had a piece of cake on my dads birthday this past weekend. That is the dangerous thing with sugar addiction, just a little bit of sugar triggers it. However my disicipline is much more stronger than my sugar cravings so I am obviously not giving in. The first week of quitting sugar is the hardest, but every time gets easier. If you have been able to quit sugar once you can always find the strenght to do it away. So do not feel bad if you tried to quit and then gave in for the cravings, just start over again :)
