Siblings {February}
‘Siblings’ is a family photography project hosted by the rather lovely Lucy at Dear Beautiful , who, with the help of 6 other talented mamas is challenging us to get a photograph of our children together once a month for the whole of 2015. That would seem like a really easy task but i am actually finding it increasingly difficult to get photos of the boys together. Where Riley will sit still and happily pose for photos, Harry is a live-wire….a firecracker and little ball of energy that is constantly busy and on the go.
However, there was a moment of calm last week where they were both sat playing with their farm set and i managed to snap away without them even realising. True to form there are none of them both looking at the camera but it’s all about the memories right?
I love watching their relationship grow. How they interact with each other and their toys. How they are content and relaxed in eachother’s company.
How Harry teaches Riley to be patient and understanding. And Riley teaches Harry to be brave and bold. How they teach eachother the ways of life.
Most of all, i love how the two of them together make my whole world complete. How they make me a better mama, a better girlfriend and a better person. And how they open my eyes to new things and help me to see how wonderful life is every single day.
I know as they get older their paths will lead them in different directions, but i hope that their tight bond will always remain.
