I have to ask a question. What is the hardest part of writing a blog post for you? Without a doubt, the hardest part for me is the intro. It’s like the awkward chit chat you have in the beginning of a conversation before you get into the good stuff. Do you agree? Once I get a paragraph under my belt, I feel much better and can get right into the post.

See what I did there? That was my intro. Awkward right? That’s ok. It’s Friday. Let’s just move along with my favorite posts this week as I link up with my dear friend Meagan of All the Joys.

One of the bloggers asked if we had ever had to reject an ad for any reason. This week Rebekah shared this post. Not everyone will have the same views and opinions as us. That can make promoting posts of theirs difficult to do. Honesty is often the best policy. I know I would much rather be told that I am not a good fit for a blogger than have them take my money and not be able to promote me.

I am a Statistic by Hello Rigby. As a woman and a mother of three daughters (one of which is heading to college soon) I am a nervous wreck when I hear the statistic that 1 out of 5 college-aged women has been sexually assaulted. Jenn shares an app called Watch Over Me that sounds amazing. I will be adding this app to my daughters’ phones ASAP. I highly recommend you read her post to learn more about the app.

5 Reasons to Try Community-Supported Agriculture by Simplicity Relished. For a couple of summers my husband and I have tossed round the idea of joining a CSA. Daisy’s post may just be the encouragement we needed to actually try it. Each summer we find ourselves cooking with produce more, as there are so many great seasonal fruits and veggies. I also love the idea that we will be forced to be creative and try new recipes instead of the same old ones we have on rotation.

Blogging Basics: Choosing Where I Sponsor by Wear Flowers in Your Hair. I love how Nina breaks down how she chooses where to sponsor. From sidebar to in post ad; from promo codes to promotions, she raises some great points. If your on the fence as to whether you want to sponsor somebody read this post first. As a side note, if you are looking to sponsor a blog, Nina’s one of the best around. I highly recommend her!

10 Blogging Kisses of Death by Sage. Go ahead…read this post. I guarantee that you will be nodding your head in agreement at several, if not all, of these kisses of death. My favorites on the list? Captcha, inconsistent posting, and not responding to comments.
