This Is Your World... Shape It Or Someone Else Will

Let's be honest. I have not been too much into keeping up with writing or reading posts lately. I do try and remember certain events that I want to publicly document, while others are kept a mystery between my husband and me just for our enjoyment and memories. Since I have been posting for the last two months on marriage goals with Amberly, I figured it would be a good idea to put into practice personal goals, too. Ashley has always been one blogger that I love to read because of her carefree nature to always succeed no matter what endeavor she pursues in life. Each month she documents goals and crosses them off one by one. If she doesn't happen to have the opportunity to accomplish all of the goals, no biggy... They are simply a challenge for the next month, too.

I feel as this is a wonderful testament to life. How can I only be adamant about goals for my marriage when I am not personally making goals within the rest of my lifestyle? These are goals that I will make at the beginning of the month. At the end of the month I will plan to document if I accomplished the goals. Mainly I hope to truly experience life more fully, love freely, and grow in all aspects of my lifestyle.

September Goals

  • Start a new devotional book.
  • Do not eat any fast food... This includes Chick-fil-a and Zaxby's. EKKK.
  • Attempt to do some form of exercise at least three times a week. Walk, jog, weights.
  • Attempt to eat healthy foods from myPlate Monday-Thursday.
  • Continue to blog about life, love, and faith as my heart desires.
  • Cook Tony at least 3 to 5 home made meals.
  • Serve my husband more passionately and fiercely.
  • Enjoy life and love with my husband, friends, and family without social media interruptions.
  • Continue to learn and expand on the wonderful hobby of photography.
  • Spend absolutely no money on clothes.

With Labor Day holiday travels, The Color Run, football games beginning, classes in full swing, fall just around the corner, and my 23rd birthday celebration at the end of the month I know that without a doubt it may seem just a little crazy to attempt brand new goals this month. I hope that putting them out there will serve a purpose in personal accountability since these goals are typically floating around in my head half the time. Cheers to September, y'all. Have a great day!
