STAPLE PIECES – JACKETS.

Happy 2015! I can’t believe it is a new year! I will be sharing my new years resolutions with you later this week! Do you start the new year feeling totally motivated and rejuvenated!? I shouldn’t with a newborn, but I am ready to build this little blog of mine and give you all some amazing content! I am so excited for what 2015 has to offer me and this little space of mine on the internet! From speaking opportunities coming up to some amazing collaborations and giveaways for YOU! I am so excited to bring you along on this journey of goodness with me for 2015 and I promise that it will rock your socks!

Jackets are HUGE this year and I must say that I am loving it. I know, still maternity pictures, but rest assured I only have 2-3 more posts and then you can see me without a bump! It is so crazy to me to think that my belly was this big and my sweet King was chillin’ inside! What an amazing experience it was to be pregnant and now a mommy! Okay, sorry for the rant, now back to these jackets. I love how easy it is to throw on a jacket and look put together. I mean, my morning get ready time has been cut in half at least. I love that when I throw a jacket on I feel good about myself, look put together, and that I can still be a mom in them. No I won’t be rocking this Michael Kors jacket right away, no one wants spit up on that baby, but I do rock all of my other jackets.

There are so many types of jackets, from the shimmer jacket above which is more trendy to the leather jacket below. You can find a jacket that fits who you are and exactly your style!

Jackets can be so slimming too. I love that they can pull your waist in if you get the right fit to them. A good leather jacket is a statement piece that is classy and timeless. If you don’t have a good leather jacket, I suggest you get one. I promise you that you will wear it all the time and that it will be worth the investment. You can wear it with jeans, dresses, skirts, etc. They truly are one of the most versatile pieces in your closet.
