Emergency Pouch

I had dinner with some cousins & acquaintances last night at Pietro Restaurant. Pleasant night I must say. These are some influential figures in the finance industry. They can practically move the market.. But sometimes, we forget. They are human beings too. They laugh at silly jokes. They cry at funerals. They stop and stare at seeing their children grow. And…. they bleed when they get a cut from a broken glass.

Yup, it was kinda rowdy that someone broke a glass while he was still holding its stem. I automatically took out a tiny blue bag from my purse and produced a Disney band-aid. I was worried that he wouldn’t accept it but after 5 seconds, he proudly said “I wouldn’t mind. I can show-off to my daughter “. So there he was, a CEO of one of the biggest financial institutions in Malaysia, wearing a Princess Aurora band-aid on his forth finger.

Some were impressed at how I have a band-aid handy. Some were NOSY to know what else do I have in the bag…maybe an IV line to make them sober :/

Introducing my Emergency Pouch and its contents!

1) Emergency Beauty Products: Body lotion, Perfume, Chapstick, Eye liner, COMB

2) First Aid Kit: Alcohol swabs, Band-aids, Normal Panadol, Panadol Menstrual, Zyrtec (allergy pills), Vicks

3) Emergency Cleaners: Hand sanitizer, wet wipes

4) Emergency sewing kit: IMPORTANT!You’d somehow end up

with a missing button or two, especially after eating 2 plates of nasi lemak

I started carrying this pouch when I realized I was dating a big baby who’s constantly having allergies and headaches (I have a feeling, he was allergic to ME. Haha)

But along the way, I’ve added a few more essentials to this pouch and I hardly ever leave the house without it. Quite convenient eh, Mommies?
