layering with a crochet cardigan

One of my favorite ways to wear white jeans is with neutrals like beige and pink. {If you saw my post on Friday, you know how I feel about pink as a neutral!}. This PLEATED BLOUSE adds a little bit of texture and the woven CROCHET CARDIGAN is a perfect layering piece when it's still brisk outside. I wore this sweater on Saturday too!
When I first got these PINK MULE SANDALS I wasn't sure how often I'd wear them but I've been surprised at how often I reach for them. I was wearing this floral dress and I felt like the mules kept the look a little more casual, whereas sandal heels would have dressed it up too much. It's always nice to have a heel option that works with both a casual jeans outfit and a pretty dress!

How was your weekend everyone? Matthew and I had a fun pizza and caprese night at home on Friday. Those nights are always my favorite. It's so nice to just relax at home after a long week, and not worry about going out. Saturday we had that baby shower which was a lot of fun. The games included drawing on diapers, guessing the waist size with yarn, and playing a funny Price is Right Babies Edition. Then we went out with our two besties Eden and Zan for drinks and dinner. Sunday was pretty busy with work but we were able to have dinner with my parents which is always so nice, and delicious! My dad is the best cook ever!
