17 DIY Beauty Products you can Make at Home!

I recently discovered that you can actually make your favorite beauty products at home! Yes, I know, I might be behind the times a little bit, but it’s true! And in most cases it’s very easy and can be done with ingredients you probably have at home already.

I have shared some that I make consistently and that I love on my blog but there are plenty amazing recipes around the web as well. So I thought it would be fun to create a little roundup for you guys! Some of these could make amazing little gifts as well!

17 DIY Beauty Products

There’s scrubs, toners, masks, lotions, even soap! Browse through – your favorite DIY beauty recipe is just waiting for you!

1.) Orange cinnamon body scrub: This is so easy to make, smells delicous and is fabulous for your skin! It’s a win on all fronts if you ask me. Check out the recipe here.

2.) 3 DIY Facial Cleansers for Dry, Oily, and mature skin: Hello Natural is such a beautiful site and chock full of great DIY beauty recipes. With beautiful pictures and even better recipes, you will definitely find what you’re looking for. These three facial cleansers are so easy and you’re bound to have the ingredients in your pantry!

3.) Vanilla Latte Sugar Scrub This is for the coffee lover in your life. If you love the smell of your morning café, you’ll love this scrub! There’s some great benefits for your skin as well! Check out the recipe here.

4.) Apple Cider Vinegar Peel: I love this idea! ACV is supposed to have many benefits and be great for your body and skin. I even used it in a recipe to help my son’s cough and it worked amazingly!! I can’t wait to try this face peel!

5.) Coconut Lime Foot Scrub: This scrub is amazing. I used it this past summer for my mom who was recovering from foot surgery and it actually helped the swelling go down in her foot! Check out the ingredients – they all have great health benefits.

6.) Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub: What better way to really embrace the beautiful fall weather than with a scrub? I mean, who needs a PSL to drink when you can walk around smelling like fall. The Kitchen McCabe has got a great recipe.

7.) 3 Ingredient Lip Scrub: Personally, this is a favorite for me. It’s so simple to make and would be the perfect little gift. It scrubs your lips fresh & you can even eat it!

8.) 2 Ingredient Makeup remover: I have been looking for a recipe for a simple makeup remover for a while. Right now I am just using my coconut oil, which works, but I wanted something specifically for my eyes. This one looks fabulous! Not to mention, I’ve been dying to try jojoba oil!

9.) Coffee Scrub: This is one of my first endeavors into the homemade beauty world. I still was happy how it came out and how simple it was to put together! This would make a great gift!

10.) DIY Lip Stain: I still haven’t tried any lip stains or anything with color in it yet. But Cheryl makes it look so easy, I’m going to have to give this one a try!

11.) DIY Body Scrub: This scrub was shared by my friend Hillary from Because My Life is Fascinating last year. I like it because it’s super simple – I bet you already have what it takes. No essential oils or anything else. If you’re looking for a place to start with DIY beauty – this one is great!

12.) Eye Gel Patches: Oh these look amazing! I don’t know exactly where she gets her ingredients but I have to find a way to make something like this. I mean, lately I’ve had some pretty decent bags under my eyes! Definitely something to check out.

13.) DIY Eye Serum: I’m also a big fan of this one as well. Just pack on the goodness right there to your eyes. I can honestly tell you that I’ve seen a difference! Vitamin E, oils, essential oils, you really can’t go wrong!

14.) Homemade liquid soap: I hadn’t even thought about trying something like this, but it makes sense and it looks very easy. With the vitamin E and other oils it looks like it wouldn’t leave your hands too dry! Not to mention smell great!

15.) DIY Facial toner: I still use this one daily too! I love the ingredients in it and even if you don’t have them all in your pantry right away, they’re very easy to find. This is a part of my natural face cleansing routine!

16.) Oil Cleansing: Speaking of my natural face washing regime, this is at the root of it! I had heard about oil cleansing for a while and it seemed counter-intuitive to me. Washing your face with oil? No thanks. But then I started doing it and oh my land the difference!! I am SO happy with it now, I’ll never go back!

17.) Oil Cleansing Scrub: This one is, of course, similar to the one above but sometimes you just need a little more scrub behind your face wash! That’s what this baby will do. Not for use nightly but is perfect for a couple of times a week to get those dead skin cells off.

I hope this post gives you some ideas to get started in the DIY beauty world! Or maybe some simple, fun DIY beauty gift ideas.

Which ones have you made or could see yourself making?
