I spoke with Kristi today and they are still trying to get Grace stable enough for surgery. There are some other proceedures that need to be done to ensure that they have all the info they need to form a game plan for surgery which will take place next week. One of the biggest hurdles to jump through is getting her off sedation. I guess it is extremely difficult on Grace to go through that withdrawal so please keep her and David in your prayers. Kristi is planning on going out to Boston on Sunday depending on her surgery date and will stay for a couple of days while she is in recovery. It is such a blessing to be able to send Kristi a check that will pretty much take care of this trip and it is all because of you and the contributions you have made on her behalf. I can only imagine the relief that this must bring for David and Kristi. Now they can focus on getting Grace through this next step in her recovery.
If you haven't had a chance to order decals or make a donation there is still time. I have more checks coming in next week so I will be sending another "care package" to Kristi in a week or so. We have sold over 130 sheets of decals and all together raised over $850 for the Ross family. Next weeks trip to Boston is not the last of their expenses. There is no way of knowing how long Grace will be in Boston and if Kristi will need to go back again before she is released and then there will be the cost of the flight to get David and Grace home. It makes my head spin just thinking of it. So as you can see while $850 is a lot of money, their need is still so great.
