LOTD: Smokey Blue with Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette

Hi hi!!

This is the first of two (or maybe more) LOTDs which I will be doing featuring the VICE 3 palette. I had to zoom in on the blue column, and though these shades are arrange in a 'combination' order... I felt being a little more adventurous and mix and match colors all over the palette. After playing with this palette, I realise.. that it could do with a few more paler shades for browbone highlight. The only highlight shade for me is that Bobby Dazzle. I wish there is another pale shade in this palette. Truth is too pinky (though it looks quite milky white in the pictures) and totally blended into my skintone to be much of a highlight.

I am very happy with the range of smokey blending shades in this palette. In a vareity of tones too. For example, Downfall, Defy and Revolver are all great definition/ blending shades.

I did not experience any fall out with these shades, but I do recommend using an eyeshadow primer to help these shadows pop and also to adhere better to the skin.

and how they look like on my eyes - I went a little crazy with my falsies, breaking out my Farfarlina lashes for this look. I kept the rest of the face clean and also nothing much under the eyes.

cheeks - Illamasqua Rumor (discon), MAC Enough Said (LE)
eyes - VICE 3 palette (colors mentioned above)
lashes - Shu Uemura Farfarlina lashes, Lancome Grandoise mascara on lower lashes
liner - EYEKO Liquid eyeliner
