MAC Heirloom Mix: Three Beautiful Matte Lipsticks

In this entry, I will be featuring 3 beautiful MAC lipsticks from their current Holiday 2014 color collection - The Heirloom Mix. These are three that caught my eye right from the preview session a few weeks back, and I received 2 of them, and I purchased the third one to complete the set when the collection launched recently.

The three matte lippies all packed good color and have a creamy matte formula. I don't find the creamy matte MAC lippies drying (but there are dry matte MAC lippies.. if you have played with them at the counter, you will have a pretty good idea of which are the good creamy ones).

Salon Rouge is a deep red with a slight burgundy undertone. This is quite a unique red, and I will definitely want to wear such colors more often in the coming months ahead.

Sparks of Romance is a true neutral red with very muted sparkly (oxymoron I know) bits that add more dimension to the overall look. Very brightening and a flattering red.

No Faux Pas is a hot pink, not too bright, but certainly bold.
