Upcoming MAC Collections for Spring 2015: Lightness of Being, Marcel Wanders & MORE [Photos & Swatches]
This entry will give you an overview of upcoming MAC collections for Jan to March 2015. I know many of you are always eager to see what MAC collections are coming, and I hope that my little preview here and there will be helpful to you. It is relatively easy for me to spam pictures here, and if time permits, I will follow up with more indepth product features in time to come. Please note that I will keep updating this entry with more product pictures and swatches as I get to preview them.
Today: 23 Dec - I will be focusing more on two collections that are available in Jan 2015: Lightness of Being, and Marcel Wanders
Prices aren't available at press time, but I guess you are more or less familiar with MAC pricing, and I will include prices whenever available.
JAN 2015 - Lightness of Being
The collection is inspired by the late dancer Martha Graham, who introduced modern dance to the world. Poetic colour ushers in a new vitality following winter's deep chill, as uninhibited shades dance across the face in a free-spirited collection inspired by whimsical flights of fancy. The collection is made up of expressive colours for the modern spirit.
The MSFs and Mineralised Eyeshadows are really gorgeous. Haven't seen the actual lipsticks yet, the glosses all swatched quite sheer except for the pinky milky one. If you missed out on previous launches of Perfect Topping MSF, now is the time to grab.
Product close ups and swatches: JAN/FEB 2015 - Prep & Prime new additionsThe new 24-HOUR EXTEND EYE BASE which is new, and out 1 Jan. Mostly a clear base, very hydrating and does make eyeshadows pop. This is love at first trial.
MAC also newly formulated the FACE PROTECT, available 1 FEB.

In Jan, M.A.C will launch its first upscale collection - the Ultimate Collection (continuous range). Specially designed by Marcel Wanders, it is the epitome of bold luxury. M∙A∙C Ultimate combines an innovative design aesthetic with the sumptuous formulas of our Ultimate Lipstick and Sheer Mystery Powder
This collection was previously pre launched during MAC World Aids Day at Tangs Orchard. But it will be available as a permanent collection. The lipsticks are delicious, creamy, intense and the sheer powders are very finely milled. The packaging is gorgeous and sleek. Lipsticks are SG$41 each.

MARCH 2015
PENCILLED IN Collection featuring permanent additions to the lipstick and lipliner range - Girl about Town joins the main MAC Collection. I am very excited for this collection.
Wan Bao Bao is a high-society darling, artist, pop philosopher, muse and jewellery designer. She is one of China's most reowned stars on the international fashion circuit. For this collection, the face takes the centrestage as she decorates the complexion with the metallic golds and rich jewel tones she so adores. Eyes are glided in the bronze hues of Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow in Bao Bao's Jewels; the skin twinkles like a diamond with Beauty Powder in Summer Opal; lips flicker like rubies in Burmese Kiss and Forbidden Sunrise lipstick, and nails are brilliant in Kashmir Blue and Sunset Tourmaline. All are outfitted in velvety brown packaging featuring burnished metal.
