Weekend Rewind 68 | Yay for weekly guest hosts

Welcome back! Happy new year – you can never say it too often IMO and all the way through until at least March is perfectly acceptable. Happy, happy new year!

It’s nice to be back with the WR, all freshened up for 2015. Every week our community of bloggers comes together to share our favourite post from the week, creating a reading list of all the best stuff. This year we’ll be introducing you to a new guest hostie each week. What a fab way to get to know our WR community. Check out the bottom of this post to meet this week’s hostie.

So, this is my best bit from the holidays so far:

Other things that had me this week:

Reading – It’s the holiyays so I’m knocking over books like crazy. Bart had THE BEST idea for a Christmas present – he said he was getting me a book and asked for a list to choose from. He then bought me one of the books on the list and found all five others at various libraries around town. How clever and kind is that!? So, I read Landline by Rainbow Rowell (best bit about it was Rainbow Rowell’s name – definitely a beach read); When will there be good news? by Kate Atkinson (love her, just LOVE); first 218 pages of The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August by Claire North (obvs didn’t get into it, hence ‘218 pages’); and I’m just getting stuck into Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson (because LOVE HER).
Writing – my ebook about connecting as a family.
Making – play kits… this detective kit is my fave.
Wishing – for some time to myself! Eek!
Loving – this free CC photo library for bloggers. And new habits.
Wondering– when I will finish my ebook.

Don’t forget to pop over to say hi to Jodi (if you haven’t met her already, you will love her: she is one of my ‘sensible soul pillars’ around the blogisphere… tell you more about that later) and happy reading everyone.
x

PS – Isn’t it nice to be back blogging!
