Parenting Tip: Keep Kid Cups, Dishes and Your Own Tupperware in a Drawer at Their Level

I wanted to share a simple tip that has worked so well in our house. Maybe you already do it, but I have seen a lot of parents who don't. People can organize their kitchens however they want, but I have found great benefits in having all of the kids dishes and my own tupperware at their level. I love the fact that my kids can get their own dishes easily to set the table. It is equally as useful when they are helping put the dishes away. If they want to get their own water, they can access their cups. No need for organization. Kids dishes don't tend to stack very well or fit together well, so the ease of not worrying about how they are thrown in there is fabulous. Another benefit is with the baby, and that is the reason I included tupperware in this list. Any parent knows that kids would rather play with your stuff vs. their own toys half of the time. This gives you a few drawers the babies can open and mess with as much as they want. It's easy play and easy clean up while you are working in the kitchen. Passing this along because it works for me.
