SPRING 2015 COUTURE

Sin olvidar lo que piensan grandes diseñadores como Givenchy, vamos a sumergirnos en la alta costura de nuestros tiempos. O bueno, si les damos la razón en lo que se llama en nuestros días alta costura pero que no deja de ser un pret a porter, o simplemente un espacio en el que las firmas hagan marketing y relaciones publicas al mas puro estilo parisino. / Whitout forgetting what designers such Givenchy think, we will immerse ourselves in today's Haute Couture. Or, if we agree with them of what is today's called couture but is just pret a porter, or is just a space in which firms do marketing and public relations in the purest Parisian style.

Puedes posicionarte como consideres pero el caso, es que es interesante dar un repaso a algunas firmas de Alta Costura y analizar en que están trabajando. Porque se trata de alta costura o no, es una maravilla verlos! / You can position yourself as you feel but the fact is that it's interesting to take a look at some Couture Houses, and analyze in what they are working. Because if it is couture or not, it is wonderful to see them!

Los diseñadores Maria Grazia Chiuri y Pierpaolo Piccioli se inspiran en grandes artistas como Shakespeare, Dante, Marc Chagall, y en ese romanticismo imposible, y un tanto desesperado. / The designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli get inspired in artist such as Shakespeare, Dante, Marc Chagall, and in that hopeless romanticism.

Para ello hacen buen uso del terciopelo, de los apliques de flores, bordados con encaje de aguja, piel, gasas. La colección de Zuhair Murad evoca el agua. Un artista que se supera a si mismo, que ya no solo se limita a modelos lisos y puros, sino que juega con los tulipanes (que evocan a su madre), y con el color. / The designer dedicates this collection to his past. If there is a designer who keeps doing Haute Couture he is Elie Saab, considered as one of the best couturiers of our time. An artist who overcomes himself, this time not only limited to plain and pure models, but plays with tulips (which evoke his mother), and color.
