a Drawing a Day

As some of you may have seen I have been posting drawings onto a new instagram account called @idrawskies. I created this account along with a corresponding tumblr to document a large art project I have been working on as of 1.1.15. Through this project I have challenged myself to complete a drawing of the sky everyday. The key factor to this project is that each drawing corresponds with the sky that occurred that day, as I saw it that is. These are not images of random pretty sunsets or horizon lines, my project is a chronological documentation of the atmosphere. Now I do expect that at some point drawing every day may become problematic, who knows what could happen, but that's the beauty of hand held devices. At the very least I will document the sky I as I saw it everyday for a year and then draw it, even if it happens the day after. Sounds like a lot, right? Yeah I know it's a bit overwhelming to me as well, but so far I have really enjoyed this and the positive feed back I have received.
