Iota Brew Cafe [Review]

After much delay, I am finally transitioning my blog to more than just Fashion and outfit posts; I've been wanting to fill up this space with more of my interests such as: recipes, restaurant/cafe reviews, beauty, travel, etc. My main goal? To make Miss Danbee a one-stop blog for all of my readers; a lifestyle blog.
Earlier this week, I was invited to taste-test the new and upcoming menu (launches this upcoming week) at Iota Brew Cafe in Koreatown, Los Angeles. If there is one space that you should be checking out in Ktown, make Iota one of them. One of their main goals is to introduce Korean Culture through food. Thanks to the Iota team for putting me in a lovely food-coma and congrats on the new menu!

Ramen Burger Everything I want in a burger including the perfect set of fries that I kept reaching for throughout the taste-test. The "buns" are actually made of ramen noodles. Sticking with their Korean roots, kimchi is added to this burger to give this dish a bit more flavor and a kick of spice. (which I love) The only downside to this is the fact that it was difficult to eat; get ready to get down and dirty when devouring this.

Affogato (with a twist) Instead of the traditional affogato which usually has a dollop of ice cream and a shot of espresso, this one replaces the ice cream with milk shaved ice, Korean rice cake (InJuhlMi) and home-roasted almonds.
Literally melts in your mouth. Yum.

Plain Egg Waffle Almost too pretty to eat; this plain egg waffle is topped off with tons of fresh fruit and various mouthwatering flavors of ice cream--green tea, strawberry and vanilla. When this was first placed on the table, it took a good 2 minutes for me to soak in all the different colors placed in front of me; it was rather pleasing to the eye. It tastes as good as it looks. The waffle was made to a perfect crisp on the outside and hollowed on the inside resembling the shape of mini quail eggs. Bonus points for Iota for taking the extra time to make everything so aesthetically pleasing. Not going to lie, I'm a sucker for pretty foods.

Jasmine Soymilk Tea
This may have been the most perfect cup of hot (soy)milk tea that I have ever tried. Maybe I'm being a tad bit bias because I'm a MAJOR tea-enthusiast and have a sweet tooth. When you first inhale the scent of this tea, the aroma of jasmine tea leaves and sweet blend of soymilk teases your olfactory nerves as well as making your mouth water before you even have the chance to take a sip. Puts you in some sort of temporary Euphoria; I'd call it: Euphoria in a Cup. Just Delightful.
