After several years of going for hands-free, across the body leather totes, there’s a new bag in my town.

Meet my bucket (In my Instagram images above) – simple, chic, black leather and totally this season.

I blame my friend Julia, she OBSESSED over the bucket bag of dreams by Mansur Gavriel (below) for MONTHS, before tracking down practically the last tan one in the country (maybe) and snapping it up. It’s beautiful, but very expensive, so I stroked it a lot wistfully. Check out one of her posts on it here.

Simple in form, they’re not your formal bag, yet they’re chic enough if you want to use it as your office bag. I just have to be careful not to overfill mine (which I always end up doing) so it doesn’t look too bulbous.
