Friday, I'm In Louvre

When Rosanna asked me where I want to spend my birthday, the first city of all Europe that popped into my head was Paris. This was my first time in Europe and out of Asia, I knew I couldn't miss the City of Lights. It was July 12, Friday that I spent my 27th birthday at the Musee du Louvre going through the massive museum wandering through the halls of great art. Seeing the infamous Mona Lisa was the cherry on top even if I had to make my way past a hundred tourists to take a closer look.

As we got off Palais Royal - Musee du Louvre metro station leading straight inside the museum, we then went out by the iconic glass and steel pyramid emerging in the center of the fortress that is the Louvre Palace. There were people everywhere, as I've read, this is the most visited Museum on Earth.

It was hard to travel with a budget airline where you will only be allowed one hand carry and no check in baggage, thinking I would be blogging about the trip. We were still lucky we went summer season, I didn't have to layer or bring thick coats and jackets and all that heavy stuff. Dresses are always a great idea.
After that day at the museum, we went back to the hotel to rest for a bit then leave again for dinner, drinks and dancing with some friends. Best birthday by far!
