TÖSSE: THE SEMEL WRAP. The most hyped pastry of the year in Sweden is without a doubt the semel wrap. This is a new modern take on the classic semla that we eat in Sweden during February each year. I haven’t been a huge fan of the semla as I find it to be quite intense with all the bread and whipped cream so when I read about that the legendary bakery Tösse has been a new modern version of the very classic semla made me thrilled. I am quite fortunate in that aspect that I only live a couple of minutes away from this cute little bakery so I can come here weird times during the day when there is pretty much no line. If you come here during the weekend you can expect 30 minute lines.
Now it’s time to analyze this little pastry! I have eaten it 2 times so far during different days to guarantee that they maintain the quality of the semel wrap no matter what. What I would recommend you to do is to buy it as early as you possibly can, this will ensure you that you will have the most fresh and juicy experience possible. I am usually not a fan of chops but their chops is very tasty and they have created the most perfect balance of fluffy whipped cream, crops and the dough from the bread. My tastebuds were screaming with joy and happiness while eating this pastry. It is most definitely worth the hype!

TÖSSE: THE SEMEL WRAP. Årets mest hypade bakverk är här och jag ville snabbare än kvickt sätta gaddarna i denna lilla godbit. Jag har aldrig varit ett större fan av semlor, jag tycker dom lätt blir för mäktiga. Därför blev jag väldigt exalterad när jag läste att Tösse har lanserat the semel wrap. Äntligen lite nytänk kring detta rätt dammiga bakverk! Nu har jag ju förmånen att bo några få minuter från Tösse så jag kan tassa dit på riktigt konstiga tider då det inte är någon direkt kö. Kommer ni hit under helgen så får ni vänta er en kö på minst 30 min.
Nu ska vi analysera detta lilla bakverk, jag har ätit det vid två olika tillfällen så jag har kvalitetssäkrat att de håller en jämn standard på alla semel wraps. Jag rekommenderar er att köpa dom så tidigt på dygnet ni bara kan för desto mer purfärsk är den. Jag gillar vanligtvis inte mandelmassa men denna mandelmassa är riktigt behaglig och mumsig, i kombination med den poröst fluffiga grädden tillsammans med det purfärska brödet så skapar det en himmelsk sensation i smaklökarna, den är perfekt balanserad! Man blir alldeles perfekt mätt av den. Det enda som drar ned lite är priset, 45 kr för en wrap men upplevelsen kompenserar upp för det. It’s most definitely worth the hype!
