Better late than never with this post? I've had some fun ideas brewing and never seem to get to all these posts I 'mean' to do. But I happened upon these pics I snapped while flipping through my phone the other day and had a burst of inspiration....that and I never got a chance to take any outfit pics that morning- it was too dark at 5:00 AM!
I was beyond honored to be asked for my input by NECN over the holidays, giving people the inside track on how to shop last minute deals and get the max return from online purchases (you can peep the clip below, though in the interest of full disclosure I didn't come up with any colorful commentary or catch phrases until the second segment, which sadly was not posted). Ally Donnelly walked me through everything and assured me that I would not swear on live TV (though she had a fabulous sailors mouth herself, not helping with my prep). Don't you just love meeting the person behind the TV personality? She is tres sassy.
I wore basic black, BORING, but tried to spice it up with this J Crew necklace. I also thought I had a TON of make up on, but nope, I didn't really. Funny how it feels so different when you actually put some on. Geesh.
Don't think I'm quitting my day job anytime soon, but it was a fun experience. Nerve wracking, but fun.
