THE FALL TRANSITION

it's time to transition into fall fashion. easier said than done in the state of louisiana where it's still 100 degrees every day and just want to walk around in a bathing suit. however. being that i grew up in a filipino-household where my mother did not believe in conditioning the air, i developed into a cold-blooded human where i am certainly suited for warmer climates. freezing everywhere i go. and unfortunately for me, every venue in town likes to blast the a/c during the hot days of summer - which makes me the odd ball that still layers - but it makes current fashion sense. ;)

so a few things to note about this outfit. one, i fell in love with this blazer online, but since it was on sale - they didn't have my size (of course). the only size available was two sizes too big, but still had to have it. it's not that desired slim fit, but still looks great! (tip: too large and baggy is definitely chicer than too small and too tight. if you're in love with something and your size is not available, it's always possible to go up in size but never down. trust.) two, my girlfriend had on these pair of jeans that fit her like a glove and i just had to have. when i asked her where she got them, she said the gap. ...i haven't been to the gap since highschool, but let me tell you, they have some great buys going on if you didn't know either! all the jeans/pants are currently 40%. right. now. go! i snagged this pair for right under forty bucks. three, these krewe du optic sunnies are killer and I've been getting compliments everywhere i turn. they are handcrafted, here in new orleans and the quality and style cannot be beat, plus they are really good people. highly recommend, my friends.
