Drawing from influences as diverse as punk, power pop and progressive rock, The Amplifires push the envelope beyond traditional rock creating a shimmering cathedral of sound, which appeals to a wide audience, the result being an energetic high energy pop.

ボーカル Sharon Clancy　ギター Steve Rawlinson　ベース David Brunt　ドラム Sandy Mitchell。Blondie, The Ramones の影響を受けて、イギリス、ダービーシャーのマットロックを拠点にするインディーパワーロックバンド、The Amplifires (ジ・アンプリファイアーズ)

2005年に結成。パンクロック、パワーポップ、プログレの影響を受けながら独自のエネルギッシュな「Amplifires」サウンドを前面に押し出している。インターネット、ソーシャルメディアのおかげで自国はもちろん彼らの人気はヨーロッパ全域にまで広がっている。昨年の年末に発売されたニューアルバム「Life’s A Gamble」は音楽サイト、リバーブネーションのオルタナチャート部門でトップ１０入りを果たすなど、ソーシャルメディア上でポジティブで大きなインパクトを与えました。

これまでにイギリス国内だけでなくアメリカ東海岸のライブツアー（オハイオ、ニューヨーク、ペンシルベニア）を成功させた The Amplifires (ジ・アンプリファイアーズ) 。今年の彼らは「人生はギャンブルだ」という名前の作品をひっさげて、ギャンブルに賭けるようにヨーロッパ北部の国々を中心に音楽フェスティバルに出演します。現在、イギリス国内ツアー実施に向けたプロモート活動はもちろんのこと、フランス、ドイツ、オランダ、ベルギーでもライブツアーのプロモーションを展開中。
