Peek at my Week-TROLLS!

First, I would love to thank the FABULOUS teachers and staff at Truman Elementary for hosting the conference on Friday! AND thank you to everyone else who braved the VERY cold weather to join us! Despite my wardrobe malfunction, it was a terrific day talking about all things math and assessments.
How awesome is this chalkboard? I want IT!

Before I left to go to Farmington on Thursday, THIS came in the mail.

My class FREAKED out! They were so excited to have a kid sized version of my apron. I also got Fairy Tale cards that will come in handy this week while we talk about the Three Billy Goats stories.

This week we will be reading the Three Billy Goats Fluff and many versions of the Three Billy Goats Gruff. These aprons all come from the very sweet and talent Sandy Welch over at Kinder-Gardening.
Even my little tough guy gave the apron a pat on the way out and said, "I can't wait until we can do this next week!" Melt! We will be using these books this week!

You can watch a video of the book as well! I do not suggest you substitute a video for a book. Holding the book and zooming in on the pages is an important part of reading. The video will just offer a fun supplemental activity.
