Marsala Home Makeover

Marsala is the Pantone Color of the Year and I for one am a huge fan. I personally love the shade in my makeup routine, but I really would love to incorporate it into my home this year. I was browsing around and found some really pretty options to add in touches of marsala easily.

Whether it be a lamp or a couch, these little pops of marsala are going to ease your house into the hottest trend of 2015.

My house is full of beige. I live in a beige and cherrywood world. My absolute favorite way to add a little zest is a gorgeous throw. I also love them because they are usually the least expensive option and they can be stuffed in a closet at a moment’s notice.

I actually add a lot of color into my kitchen. A couple years ago I got really into a mustard shade and it ruled my world. Right now I am obviously into marsala. This Rachael Ray Stonewear set would look amazzzing with a baked casserole or dessert in it.

I have actually always wanted a beautiful dresser in a marsala shade. I used to call it red, but now that Marsala has been defined I know that is truly what it is.

Another great way to add color where it is least expected is in an area rug. The rugs wont be an obvious jump-out-at-you accent but it will definitely be noticed to some extent. I think that it may be the safest way to go, other than the throw, to get a bold statement in an effortless way.

I hope that these ideas helped you out. I have already started my own marsala transformation.
