FRIDAY REALITIES

Nada dice “viernes” mejor que lentejuelas y plumas… ó mi cara de cansancio después de una semana súper ocupada.

Nothing says “Friday” better than sequins and feathers… or my tired face after a very busy week.

Antes esperaba con ansias los viernes, para salir y no dormir en toda la noche y ahora los espero con ansias para poder dormir toda la noche y la siguiente parte de la mañana antes de mi tradicional desayuno/brunch con mis amigas. Ironías de la vida. Pero más que salir y bailar toda la noche lo que más extraño es el ritual de arreglarme, de escuchar música mientras me maquillaba y la ropa… sobre todo la ropa! Los vestitidos, las lentejuelas, los tacones altísimos y fue ahí cuando dije, ¿porqué no? Quiero usarlo en un día cualquier y he aquí el look del día con un vestido vintage que tuve que ajustar con un cinturón porque si no me queda súper largo (por cierto creo que se me pasó la mano, espero no asustarlos!), mi blazer de plumas que estoy segura que a estas alturas saben que amo y mis botines de encaje que también me encantan. La vida es demasiado corta para no usar la ropa que te gusta.

I use to wait for Fridays to go out and have sleepless nights having so much fun and now I wait for Fridays to sleep all night and the next morning before having breakfast/brunch with my friends. Like Alanis Morissette once said “Isn’t it ironic?”. But more tan going out, dance all night, listen to music while doing my makeup before going out what I miss the must is getting ready and the clothes… all those mini dresses, sequins, and super high heels. And that’s when I thought why not wear it on a normal day? Here’s the look of the day wearing a vintage dress that I had to adjust with a belt, because it is a little bit long (the result is a little bit too short, I hope not to scary you!), my beloved feather blazer and my lace booties that I love. Life is too short, not to use the clothes you love.
