A New Play Place
And no, I'm not talking about McDonalds. Now that Evey is getting bigger (
7 months already!) and is enjoying her toys more and more, I needed to turn what was previously our office/guest room into an office/guest room/play room. Talk about multifunctional! I've already shared
how we turned this room into a guest room...
...and you've seen my desk...
...so here's how it looks today with a new rug and a new play place for Evey.
The rug was a Craigslist find over a year ago and up until now it had been living under our bed on top of our wall to wall carpeting. I figured it could be put to better use here so I took it from our room to give Evey a softer place to play.
An unused basket from our basement is perfect for tucking a few toys under the bed and easily out of sight.
I also swapped out the design books from the side table and replaced them with a few baby appropriate titles. Now the room is a perfect place for Evey to play while I write up a post, reply to an email, or catch up on some New Girl.
And in case you're wondering, the rug isn't dirty. When I took it from under our bed there were a few indentations left over from the bed legs. I used the ice cube trick to remove the indents but they were not yet dry when I took these shots!
