[Hair Care] A.N.J.I Revival Leave-in Treatment

Hello,

Here I am with a new hair care product made in Switzerland by the brand A.N.J.I. A.N.J.I stands for Audacieuse, Naturelle, Joviale, Intelligente in French (daring, natural, jovial, intelligent).

A.N.J.I creates elixirs to nourish the hair and make them sublime. Products are formulated with natural ingredients of the highest quality.

Philosophy of the brand

"We wanted to design a brand that combines efficiency, safety, respect for the environment, respect for your beauty and glamor.", said A.N.J.I's CEO, Mrs Descloux. Other keywords that describe the brand very well: natural, vegan.

A.N.J.I products are designed to bring hair essential elements to their reconstruction, nutrition and health. Products are intended for all those with dry and / or dehydrated hair whether they are smooth, colored, straightened, curled, damaged, curly or afros.

A.N.J.I Revival - Soins Sans Rinçage / Leave-in Treatment
A.N.J.I Revival Soins Sans Rinçage / Leave-in Treatment is a hair care product to be used on dry or damp hair.

It will: - moisturize
- nourish
- revitalize
- and regenerate the hair.

Key ingredients:
- hyaluronic acid (plant origin): moisturizer.
- keratin extracted from quinoa: protects the hair from damage and if hair is damaged, keratin can penetrate into the fibre and bind to the internal structure, rebuilding the damaged proteins to restore strength and condition to the fibre.
- hydrolate from damask rose: toning, softening, revitalizing.
- argan oil: makes hair softer, silkier and shinier, can help to treat split ends and tame frizzy hair.
- jojoba oil: hydrates hair, helps to add shine, elasticity and softness to hair, can be used to add volume to hair.
- lavender essential oil: fortifying, revitalizing, sebum control, suitable for dry, damaged hair, and oily scalps.

If you like natural ingredients this product is for you. Just to give you an idea, the first ingredient of the list (i.e., the most concentrated ingredient) is "lavandula vera angustifolia water" (lavander water), the second one is "rosa damascena water" (damask rose water), and the third one is "equisetum arvense extract" (field horsetail extract) and so it goes on. It's not very common to see products with such a list of ingredients.

Packaging
The product comes in a bottle with a dispensing pump. The pump is easy to use, I had no problem to get the product out.

Texture
The hair treatment is very creamy and it spreads easily. Texture is quite rich but not greasy. It is quickly absorbed into the hair and doesn't leave any weird residues. The rich texture makes it perfect for dry hair. It especially works wonders for dry hair ends!

Directions for use
Apply a small amount to the length and ends of hair after shampooing and conditioning, then rub in gently. Can also be used in the morning before styling.

I've tried it on both damp hair just after shampoo and also on dry hair in the morning and both ways work great, i..e it provides moisture to the hair without making it heavy. Yay for healthy hair~! Hair actually looks silkier and more healthy when using it. As the product is creamy, I wouldn't recommend using too much product. Typically I just use 2x a pea-sized amount for my whole head and I use it only on my hair ends and not on the roots. That being said, I was rather surprized that it didn't leave any greasy residues at all. So you don't have to worry about that. If you have dry hair (my case) and love products made with natural ingredients (my case, too), this product is made for you! The only sad side is that it's a bit pricey (54.90 CHF for 100 mL) but considering the ingredients used I can understand the price - in a certain way ;p To tell you the truth, I'm quite impressed with the ingredient list. Having so many natural ingredient is something not very common. And in that way, I think this product is rather impressive!
