NOSTALGIC E EATS: MARY GRACE, TRINOMA

Many of my friends have been telling me that Mary Grace is an awesome place to eat out. And I was also able to taste one of their cakes which is Chocolate Truffle Cake (not sure with the name) as a birthday gift and I was satisfied with it since I am a fan of chocolates. So this made me expect more from Mary Grace. I was given the opportunity to taste their food yesterday. We ordered Filli Beef and Tomatoes, Smoked Salmon and Cream, and Black Velvet.

FINAL VERDICT: • Environment = 3. I wanted to eat inside MG so I can feel the cafe's ambiance but they placed our tables outside farther than MG's cafe. • Food = 2. I had a taste of Filli Beef and it was good. I didn't like the taste of Smoked Salmon and Cream because it tastes too fishy. Lastly, the Black Velvet disappointed me. I was hoping that it tasted somehow like Conti's Black Velvet but no. I was so "umay" with the foods I was close to puking. The only think I liked about the cake is the chocolate part. • Price = 3. So-so price for a not so good food. • Service = 4. The waiters are accommodating and cheerful.
To all Mary Grace lovers, I hope this won't make you hate me. I'm just voicing out my true and honest opinions.

xx, Edda
