LOOKBOOK | The Gingham Dress

Dress - Primark Coat - Matalan Chelsea Boots - ASOS Watch* - Gio Goi Clutch - Boohoo
Pairing the old with the new, this outfit above really shows my style in one. My forever loved Chelsea boots, they urgently need some TLC but I don't mind if they look a little weathered, it just shows how much I love them. Wearing dresses isn't my thing but today it felt appropriate for the warm spring day. Gingham becoming on trend never really took my fancy after seeing lots of fifties style skirts in pastel gingham throughout the high street. I'm not the type of person to wear skirts or even dresses for that matter, but I loved the shape and fit of this dress above. The colour choice was obviously suited to my taste and the subtle detailing of the raglan sleeves and pockets really caught my eye. If you have been following me for a while you will know I am all about simplicity and this outfit really does my style justice. Primark always has some hidden gems you just have to search for them, for £12 this dress was a steal & I know from only wearing it once it is going to be a valued member on the 'drobe' as it is so versatile.
