Happy 2nd Birthday Gretchen

Today is Gretchen's 2nd birthday. I made her a teepee. Despite its structural issues she seems to like it. Great place to enjoy a can of sparkling water.

It didn't turn out exactly as I had planned. When I looked online at play teepees others said just to wrap the top the sticks together and your good. I didn't find this to work so well, it would if I were outside and could push the poles in the ground. I went with roping the poles together with twill tape in three additional spots down the poles. She hasn't knocked it over but I may put some more work into the structure.

Then we went to Target for some birthday boots. It was between these two pairs. My vote was for the brown pair but I let her decide which pair she wanted. It was tough for her since she wanted both pairs but ended up going with the pink. She said they matched more of her outfits.
