Michael Todd Soniclear Review

Disclosure: I received the Soniclear for review, however all opinions are honest and my own.

I’ve been using the Michael Todd Soniclear for a few weeks now, which is essentially a feat all in its own. I am pretty much the worst person ever at sticking to a skincare regime, mostly because I never see results. I don’t have the worst skin ever to start with, my only complaint would be that it fairly often gets dry/flaky, so I don’t have any serious acne issues that drive me to stick to a daily regime. The Soniclear, however, is a whole different story. I have used this religiously for the last few weeks and I love it.

The Soniclear is a cleansing brush that has built in antimicrobial protection. According to Michael Todd, “sonic cleansing can create a breeding ground for microbial contamination when skin cells, makeup and moisture residue combine with bacteria that cling to the brush bristles between cleansings.” I thought I’d just go ahead and quote that, because I’m no skincare expert and I certainly couldn’t have said it better myself, haha. They put in a ton of research and testing when creating this cleansing brush to avoid this issue and just like that, they came and they conquered.

Anyways, what we really care about here is how well it works. Well, dry skin girl over here gives it an A . Seriously, after the first use my skin was insanely soft. I exfoliate pretty regularly, but this was like no exfoliation I have ever had in my life. My cheeks were baby’s butt soft, no exaggeration. And they’re still baby’s butt soft (thank you, Soniclear). I’ve even had people notice that my skin is looking good- when we got off the plane in Auckland a couple weeks ago, my boyfriend’s mom was like “Chels! Your skin looks great!” which was totally random because I’ve never had someone say that out of nowhere, but obviously the Soniclear is doing it’s thing, haha.

I’ve just been using the brush in the morning and at night on the lowest setting with my regular face wash and gentle exfoliant. Like I said, I don’t have any favorite/holy grail skincare products or any other regime, it’s a miracle that I have even stuck to this for so long! The results definitely make it worth it though. I am super happy with this product, in all honesty. I had one single instance of a patch of skin close to my jaw feeling a tiny bit sensitive when I very first started using it, but that has passed and I’ve since made sure to not push the brush down on my skin when using it and to not focus on a single area for too long and I’ve been good. Overall, I 100% recommend this product. Sonic cleansing systems are all the rage right now, and for good reason it seems! I love my Soniclear and will definitely be continuing to use this product regularly!

Have you ever tried a sonic cleansing brush?
