Modern, but Rustic Kitchen Shelves

I saw these shelves on Nest Design Studio’s blog, and they are absolutely what I have been picturing for my kitchen!

My handy father has a bunch of salvaged barn wood, out of which he crafted this cute shelf to display my vintage inkwell collection.

I love it, but I want a more modern, and cleanable bracket for use in the kitchen. The shelves from house tweaking use the Ekby Bjarnum bracket from IKEA, and the look is just what I am after. Time to call my dad with some measurements!
