The Little Mermaid Released from the Vault!

Among all of the original retro Disney animated movies, The Little Mermaid is my absolute favorite, with Aladdin & The Lion King being close runner ups. I owned the VHS as a little girl, & I had no problem watching it consecutively back to back, & that's saying a lot considering that I had to wait over 3 minutes for the tape to manually rewind before playing it again.
I feel sorry for the newer generations who didn't grow up with the magic of hand-sketched Disney features. I appreciate its simplicity, & almost prefer it. This movie is easily a classic, & is still as beautiful as it was when it was released in 1989. I don't remember the last time I've seen The Little Mermaid in its entirety; most likely over a decade.

The 3-disc Diamond Edition includes Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD, Digital Copy, & Soundtrack, available for PRE-ORDER now on Amazon.com. There will also be a 3D theater re-release with iPad interaction, but only in a few select theaters across the country due to low performances of previous Disney re-releases.
