STRIPED PJ'S IN MARRAKECH

Hello there! I'm back from the city of one thousand and one nights, very much alive and kicking. Unfortunately just a liiiiittle less relaxed than I had hoped for (so much damn screaming, it's incredible) but at least the delicious food, the cozy riads and the magnificent afternoon light were top notch.


Although I don't have a lot of secret hotspots to share with you, I will of course still provide you with a photo diary and my personal experience of the city. More of this real soon. Let's now focus on that glorious afternoon light and my first outfit of our trip!

Before I took off to my winter sun escape I had one of my seasonal meetings with VILA. After showing me an exclusive preview of the very promising autumn 2015 collection, my dear press friends surprised me with a bag full of items I fell in love with from the current collection! Among these pieces was a PJ-style two-piece consisting of a striped shirt and a pair of striped pants. I swear I tried on the (pretty daring) combination together first, but after combining the trousers with my black COS knit I knew this was going to be my favourite holiday ensemble. Wearing loose pants on its own is quite unusual for me anyway!

I wore this outfit the afternoon of our arrival to Marrakech, when we still dealt with a pleasant 18 degrees. From then on we unfortunately had to wear a wool coat over our holiday outfits, but more on that later! Have a wonderful Tuesday guys, and I hope you like today's photo. Back to university now...
